Meet With An Advisor

STEP 1: Meet With An AdvisorYou will need to meet with an advisor in order to:

  1. Complete an Advisement Form. With an advisor you will select your courses for the coming semester. Advisement forms are available at the Information Center.
  2. Review Placement Test Results. Although not mandatory, you should bring your Placement Test Results with you when you meet with an advisor.
  3. Obtain a Registration PIN number. An advisor will give you a PIN number that you must use to register for classes.

You will need to present a valid Photo ID (Driver's License, High School ID, or GCC Student ID) during this process.

Please also note that you are encouraged to schedule an appointment with your advisor once the semester has begun.

 
Open Registration (Register For Classes)

STEP 2: Open Registration (Register For Classes)New students must attend Open Registration in the Student Services building in order to register for classes. Click Open Registration for dates and times.

The following is needed in order to register for classes:

  • Bring a valid Photo ID (Driver's License, High School ID, etc).
  • Obtain your GCC Username & Password from the Information Center.
  • Obtain your Registration PIN number from an advisor.

You will need to present a valid Photo ID (Driver's License, High School ID, or GCC Student ID) during this process. It is also recommended that you bring any other documents (SAT scores, college transcripts if you have attended another college, etc.) and a pen.

Once you have registered for classes you will be able to print your class schedule and a Registration Fee Assessment (Tuition & Fees Bill).
