Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

You will need to have a federal PIN number (dependent students must obtain at least one for one parent) available at www.pin.ed.gov. You will need a pin number to sign your FAFSA electronically.

Fall 2012, Spring 2013, & Summer 2013 students should complete the new 2012-2013 FAFSA form online.

TIP: We recommend that you complete your FASFA form online by May 1, 2012. This will help ensure that GCC receives your FASFA results before the GCC payment deadline.

In compliance with FERPA, GCC is prohibited from providing certain information (i.e. - information on grades, billing, financial aid, etc.) from your student records to a third party (i.e. - parents, spouse, etc.).

However, if you would like to give GCC the permission to release your financial aid information to a third party (i.e. - parents, spouse, etc.) so that they can assist you with private matters, then please stop at the Information Center in the Student Services building to fill out an Authorization to Release Financial Aid Information Form. This form must be filled out in person at the time of submission to the Financial Aid office in the Student Services building.
