Contact Financial Aid To Determine Your Status

If you applied for Financial Aid and / or Scholarships, it's important to check the status of everything in order to make sure that there are no unexpected delays or miscommunication with this process.

You can review your Financial Aid Awards status by logging onto the GCC Portal, choosing the Academics Tab and then clicking the Financial Aid Awards link. As for Scholarship awards, you should receive a letter in the mail.

Confirm Your Method Of Payment

Once you register for courses, you owe a bill. This bill must be paid by the applicable payment due date. If you are registering after the payment due date, you must pay in full or enroll in the payment plan on the day you register. Please keep the following information in mind:

  • Gloucester County College no longer mails paper bills. Bills are viewable online though your Portal account.
  • If you are waiting on Financial Aid and it is not approved by the payment due date, you must either pay in full or enroll in the payment plan on-line. If you register after the payment due date and your financial aid is not approved, you must pay in full or enroll in the payment plan on the day you register.
  • If you registered and will not be attending, you MUST officially drop your classes BEFORE THE SEMESTER BEGINS or you will be held financially responsible.
